Government assistance programs are available to people who have a low- and moderate-income. Most states have about 12 government assistance programs. You can get assistance with paying for food, health care, utility bills, rent, child care and cash income.
Most programs are available to families with children under the age of 18 living with them. Some programs are also available to adults (over 18) without children.
To qualify for government benefits you must meet certain eligibility criteria. These vary by state. To get started, click on the state you live in. You will then see a list of government assistance programs that are available in your state.
NOTE: Currently we only provide info on 3 programs per state. We are working hard on providing information on all government programs per state. Please return to this website frequently, as information on the other programs will be added soon.
